We live in a beautiful gated community on Long Island, New York. It is the sweetest, family-oriented neighborhood you could imagine. Our home is situated on a cul-de-sac in the back of our development. It is filled with children of all ages. When one drives through our neighborhood , there are always kids playing outside, families walking or riding bikes and people walking their dogs. Snowmen line the yards in the wintertime. We are fortunate to have access to a private playground, tennis court and basketball court. We have a private beach only 10 minutes away that’s reserved for town residents only. We love to spend time there.

We feel lucky to live in a close-knit neighborhood, where neighbors still know each other and spend time together. Christmas in our neighborhood is amazing. The streets are filled with such holiday spirit. The entire neighborhood is decorated with lights and transforms to look like a Christmas village. We also have an annual 4th of July celebration where everyone gathers to watch fireworks. During the summer the ice cream truck is a popular, and regular visitor.

We are only a short train ride away from New York City. We can easily catch a Broadway show, explore a museum, or enjoy all the fun Christmas activities—like ice-skating at Rockefeller Center or the holiday show at Radio City Music Hall.

We truly love our home and our family friendly community. We purchased our house in this neighborhood two years ago knowing it would be the perfect place to raise a family. We can’t wait to share it with a child!

our dog SOPHIE, everyone’s best friend

Sophie is our super sweet seven year old Labrador. She is the Best Dog Ever! Children absolutely adore her. The neighborhood kids love to come pet her when we are out on walks. Sophie is so gentle with children. She has such a great personality and makes us laugh everyday. She loves to open presents on Christmas morning, wears costumes on Halloween and knows just the right time you need a snuggle. Sophie can’t wait to be a big sister!
